4.2.2 BULGARIA (BG)

The following picture shows the main supply corridor for Bulgaria which under nor- mal conditions runs through Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania (at the figure marked BG1). Other gas supply corridors in case of supply disruption through Ukraine are through Greece (marked BG2; this connection can be used in reverse-flow mode during emergency situations which is in line with the requirement of REG 994/2010) and through Romania (marked BG3). The four new cross-border interconnections are planned from 2019.
