Exports
Since 1992, the key market of Turkmenistan gas is Russia but this has been changed abruptly in 2009. As a consequence of damages on the Central Asia-Center pipeline which brings gas to Russia, Turkmenistan exports suffered serious declines from a high of 71bcm (781GWh) in 2008 to 37bcm (407TWh) in 2009 1) .
