8.4.2 CASE STUDY 2:

SOUTH-NORTH FLOW (RUSSIAN MINIMIZATION)

When Russian supplies are minimized under average demand situations more gas is needed from other sources. When the SNC projects aimed at creating reverse flow capacity in the corridor would be commis- sioned, additional gas can be delivered from the South towards North and East Europe, adding up to increased flows from the west, and help to compensate for the reduced imports from Russia.
