All the natural gas is imported from Denmark through the interconnection point, Dragør. The total yearly volume of natural gas (and biogas) is usually around 10TWh but in 2010 the system had a peak of 19TWh. This was due to a cold winter and the fact that the gas-fired CHP plants were used at a high level. In 2015 the total yearly volume was 10TWh.
